I eat a healthy diet: my interest in wild food attests to that. So I was very suprised to be diagnosed with a rising level of 'bad' cholesterol and weakening kidney function, at age 65. I found Ray Peat's site: he puts forward some very convincing reasons why modern dietary advice is actually wrong. And suggestions about putting it right. Some of the essays can get a little technical.

Forest of Dean
Originally I said "We are taking a week off (Easter 2009) to visit the forest, so expect additions to this site after that. Use the contact button if you are interested." However - we liked the Forest do much we bought a holiday cottage onthe Forest of Dean. There ois a lot on that www site!
