My grandfather, John Morrison Torrens (1877 - 1944) ran the Chemists shop at 85 North Main Street, Youghal in the early 0th century. One of his hats was that of a professional photographer. These are digitizations of some of his magic lantern slides.

The images here are not the full-size digitizations, which are large high resolution pictures (average about 2MB). However if you have interest in particular slides, the high resolution jpegs can be provided on request.
