The History

The Old George, Graveley Way, Hilton, was once a pub. There are old photographs in the Huntingdonshire Archives. we do not know the date of its building but the George seems to be present on the Hilton map dated 1778

On the front wall of the Old George is affixed a sign which says:

Rights of Way Act 1932
Notice
This land is Private
No right of way.

An Archive list of Business Records in the County Record Office, Cambridge says

Huntingdon Breweries Ltd.:
