The spine is not broken but the leather on the cover is badly worn and slightly torn.
Names
- Jn. Pickering and Ann Claisson were married at Stockton the 7th May 1760
- Ann Pickering Born May 11th 1761
- Elizabeth Pickering born Dec 19th 1764
- Mary Pickering born 25th Feby 1769
The first entry is clear but subsequent entries are not very easy to read but it appears from later entries that Elizabeth Pickering married a George (?) Metcalfe and the last entry is of her death in 1832

Acquired by present owner about 15 years ago in a street market in Penrith.
